Description

You will build and maintain cloud-based microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java, JEE, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Decompose legacy applications into modern microservice architectures.
• Implement API service architectures using SOAP and REST.
• Write and debug complex SQL queries for Postgres and SQL Server.
• Document technical problems and communicate solutions to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep understanding of microservice patterns and concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, JEE, and Spring MVC/Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies.
• Ability to implement API architectures using tools like Apigee.
• Experience working within Agile (Scrum) environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes for container management.
