Description

Design and develop Spring REST-based microservices, owning end-to-end implementation and architectural guidelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices within established technical frameworks.
• Own end-to-end design and code implementation for assigned requirements.
• Ensure platform standards through testing, TDD, and JUnit.
• Optimize application stability, scalability, and user experience.
• Communicate technical progress to project teams and management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and API-driven microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices cloud patterns, REST, and multi-threaded programming.
• Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with React or Angular and GIT for version control.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle and related procedural languages.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile development practices, and Azure.
• Ability to design complex, multi-tiered system architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy applications to REST-based microservices.
• Familiarity with the Banking/Financial domain.
• Experience using JIRA within a sprint-based delivery model.
