Description

Lead the development and delivery of scalable Java-based enterprise applications and microservices. You will own the technical direction, code quality, and performance optimization of the platform while mentoring the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server to ensure high performance.
• Mentor team members on coding standards, best practices, and technical problem-solving.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce security and performance standards across the codebase.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system resilience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java (version 8 or higher) and core concepts.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related libraries.
• Strong experience with relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience designing microservices architecture and RESTful API integration.
• Proficiency with build tools (Maven or Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and application security.
