Description

You will lead the development and delivery of Java-based enterprise applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs. You will own the technical direction, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across the development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Mentor team members on code quality, best practices, and technical excellence.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Java developer in enterprise settings.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and data management.
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and performance tuning tools.
