Description

Build and maintain API services and microservices architectures in a multi-tier environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API services using SOAP and REST protocols.
• Apply microservice patterns to solve complex architectural problems.
• Build integrations using synchronous/asynchronous messaging and publish/subscribe models.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and practice TDD/BDD.
• Deploy solutions using containerization tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong hands-on development in Java/J2EE and J2EE design patterns.
• Experience with microservices using Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in C or C#.
• Knowledge of SOA, EAI, ESB, and Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience with middleware (Application Servers, BPMs, BRMS, Message Brokers).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Database experience with DB2, MySQL, and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and MVS operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IBM z/OS Connect EE, DataPower, and WebSphere Transformation Extender.
