Description

You will develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices within a distributed architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders to inform technical design.
• Write, test, and document idiomatic Java code following industry best practices.
• Migrate functionality from monolithic applications to microservices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and external web services.
• Resolve production issues, bugs, and web application vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and Spring framework development.
• Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in Core Java, multi-threading, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Batch and Kubernetes Services.
• Strong background in TDD, BDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
• 2-4 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Oracle DB and Apigee/API Gateway.
• Proficiency with Git/SVN, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Jira, Fortify, Sonar, and Blackduck.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
