You will design, build, and operate microservices in a production environment, including managing a small team of IT professionals.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs.
• Build data persistence systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Operate microservices architectures following 12-factor principles.
• Manage a small team of IT professionals.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of overall professional experience.
• 5 years of experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and production operations.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL DBMS, specifically OracleDB and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience using GitHub, Unix, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Netflix OSS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Postman.
• Experience applying SCRUM Agile methodologies to development workflows.
