Description

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Mentor team members on code quality, best practices, and technical challenges.
• Drive scalability, performance, and security across all development activities.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards for high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers for relational and NoSQL stores.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Java developer in enterprise settings.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API security.
• Proficiency in relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Proven success leading development teams and managing complex project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
