Description

You will design, develop, and maintain medium-complexity features using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot within a Microservices Architecture. You own the full delivery lifecycle for multiple modules or small projects, from technical design through to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code following defined architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos while managing task updates in JIRA.
• Perform unit testing and ensure code reviews are approved by the Architect before release.
• Assist the Architect in defining coding standards, technical design, and architecture guidelines.
• Resolve technical conflicts, support team members, and gradually lead a small team of up to 7 people.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Git, including resolving merge conflicts and cherry-picking.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and exposure to GCP.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of APIGEE and ETL processes.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and experience with JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing code version control and DevOps processes in enterprise environments.
