Description

Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native microservices on Google Cloud Platform using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Design RESTful APIs and backend services focusing on performance, security, and reliability.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for asynchronous integration.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes (GKE, RKE, RKE2).
• Optimize data persistence layers and SQL queries across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot 4.x, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Experience with microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager.
• Strong knowledge of distributed system principles and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting with Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Helm Charts.
• Exposure to full-stack development and collaboration with frontend teams.
