Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices on AWS. Your work focuses on building RESTful APIs, implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka, and deploying cloud-native solutions using Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful services using Spring framework and integration patterns.
• Develop Kafka-based event-driven solutions and manage enterprise integration use cases with Spring Integration.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, integrating with ECS, S3, SNS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD build processes while following SDLC best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Integration Framework.
• Proven experience developing and consuming REST services.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems.
• Public cloud experience, specifically AWS (ECS, S3, SNS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, and build processes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerized deployments (ECS or similar).
• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems.
