Description

You will design and develop business, application, data, and infrastructure solutions within an AWS cloud environment. You own the full lifecycle from front-end and back-end code development using TDD to automated deployment and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end and back-end code using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment scripts, and configure databases and monitoring services.
• Optimize application performance and address non-functional requirements including scalability, reliability, availability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems from development through production, including participating in on-call production support.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and product managers to align code with functional requirements and security frameworks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other enterprise cloud providers.
• Experience with Oracle and IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of Angular for front-end development.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Practical experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Git (GitHub or Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with 12-factor application principles and application security fundamentals.
• Experience implementing Service Reliability Engineering and Test Driven Development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience working in an airline technology environment.
