Description

You will design, develop, and maintain business, application, and infrastructure solutions within an AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end and back-end code using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot components from development through production, including on-call support.
• Configure services including databases and monitoring tools.
• Design solutions considering scalability, reliability, availability, observability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and product managers to meet functional and technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Oracle Database design, queries, and optimization.
• Experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ.
• Experience engineering software within AWS or a similar enterprise cloud provider.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Experience with source control and build tools using Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar).
• Understanding of 12-factor application principles and Application Security fundamentals.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience working in an airline technology environment.
