Description

You will design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack using Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in Google Cloud using Java and GCP SDKs.
• Develop microservices leveraging GKE/Kubernetes and apply microservices architecture principles.
• Build data-intensive applications utilizing PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and GCP Dataflow.
• Triage product issues, debugging and resolving problems by analyzing service operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, serverless computing, and infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• In-depth knowledge of core Java concepts: Streams, Threads, and Collections.
• Advanced proficiency with Spring Boot frameworks and Java web services.
• Experience managing Java projects using Maven or Gradle, including BOM management and version conflict resolution.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Beam programming model and its Java SDK.
• Proven experience with GCP services: Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with GCP SDKs and container orchestration using GKE/Kubernetes.
• Experience configuring logging and monitoring in GCP environments.
