Description

You will develop and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java and OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure, configuration-driven architectures using JSON, XML, and YAML.
• Manage data streaming and messaging via Kafka.
• Develop and secure APIs using OAuth, SOAP, and REST protocols.
• Mitigate security vulnerabilities through robust encryption implementation, including algorithms, modes, IVs, and authentication tags.
• Handle file management and cloud storage integration using the Amazon S3 SDK.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced Java proficiency, specifically with annotations, threading, and lambdas.
• Experience with Kafka and API development (OAuth, SOAP, REST).
• Hands-on work with OpenShift, Knative, and Quarkus.
• Knowledge of secure storage solutions like HashiCorp Vault or equivalent.
• Experience with business rules engines such as Drools, Kogito, BAM OE, or Red Hat Decision Manager.
• Proficiency in data formats including JSON, XML, and YAML.
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Amazon S3 and the Amazon SDK.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with configuration-driven architecture patterns.
