Description

You will design, develop, and support scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high- and low-level software specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver new capabilities and mentor team members.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Coordinate with product owners to gather requirements.
• Optimize code for performance and maintain high test coverage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years developing scalable backend systems with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture and modern RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-enabled containerized services.
• Experience with GCP or PCF cloud infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and EDIFACT.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and networking.
• Expertise in JUnit and Mockito testing frameworks.
• Ability to work within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin, Spanner, Postgres, Kubernetes, Rancher, or Docker.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain or Logistics domain software.
