Description

You will own the maintenance, enhancement, and triaging of large-scale Java-based systems. You will develop, deploy, and maintain microservices within an AWS environment, leading high-priority incident bridges to resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Java-based microservices in AWS.
• Debug production and performance issues using SumoLogic, JMeter, and Grafana.
• Lead incident bridges to resolve complex technical issues.
• Manage system enhancements and BAU operations for distributed systems.
• Triage and maintain large, complex Java-based systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development and system maintenance.
• 5+ years with RESTful microservices, Spring Boot, and Java 8 multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Kubernetes, VPC, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with Maven, Docker, Jenkins, and the ELK stack.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production environments.
• Experience working with JSON and REST architectures.
• Knowledge of containers, automation, security, and configuration management.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Reactive Programming (Spring Webflux or AKKA).
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) or NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis).
• Exposure to Graph databases, Apache Kafka, Spring Cloud Gateway, or MQ.
