Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-throughput microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data access layers using JPA and JDBC, tuning databases for performance and scalability.
• Implement asynchronous and concurrent processing to support high-throughput systems.
• Develop and manage REST and GraphQL APIs, integrating event-driven processing with Kafka.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift, configuring API gateways via Apigee.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and leverage AI-assisted tools like Copilot to enhance code quality.

Required Skills

• Java and Spring Boot with 4+ years of experience in microservices, RESTful APIs, and async/concurrency.
• Database systems with 3+ years of experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Data access technologies: JPA and JDBC with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and secure application development.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and production support.
• Proven ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• GraphQL (1+ year) and Kafka event streaming/messaging (2+ years).
• Cloud-native distributed systems, OpenShift, Apigee, and GitHub Actions (2+ years each).
