Description

Lead the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and microservices for the API Catalogue Services platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure microservices using Spring Boot.
• Integrate APIs with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT security protocols, and manage API gateway policies.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and metrics for production troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development and Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Data and Spring Security.
• Expertise in RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in JSON and XML data transformation and serialization.
• Familiarity with API gateways and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Documentation of API specifications using OpenAPI and Swagger standards.
