Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable client-side and server-side architectures using Java and Spring Boot. You own specific modules, ensuring timely delivery and high availability through rigorous testing and security remediation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, secure application architectures using Java, Spring Framework, and Angular.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry-standard design patterns and coding standards.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure application responsiveness and high availability.
• Refactor, optimize, and maintain existing applications to improve performance and security.
• Consult with stakeholders to define system enhancements and recommend programming solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in applications development, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring MVC.
• Experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and Git.
• Understanding of multithreading, collections, concurrency, and security standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Data, Spring Security, JPA, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Bitbucket).
