Description

You will own the Java networking module, covering sustenance, feature tracking, vulnerability management, and customer ticket triaging.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of assigned components, including defect resolution for both customer-found and internal issues.
• Analyze customer tickets in collaboration with the TAC team, suggesting configuration changes and providing necessary fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and address Coverity fixes, vulnerability assessments, and VTN fixes.
• Collaborate with functional owners and the QA team to drive serviceability improvements and value additions.
• Provide regular status updates on defect resolution and cross-functional module support.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Strong background in Networking, specifically Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Experience with database development and support.
• Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and GitHub for version control.
• Ability to triage vulnerabilities and manage technical debt.
