Description

You will own performance engineering for complex software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
• Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
• Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments and analyze results.
• Participate in architecture reviews, owning quality perspectives for complex solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages: Python, Perl, Abap, Java, or C++.
• Experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams.
