Own performance testing, troubleshooting, and analysis across diverse software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and apply performance and scalability benchmarks for new and existing systems.
• Characterize, debug, and improve system performance within cross-functional teams.
• Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Plan and execute automated performance tests, analyzing results to guide improvements.
• Participate in architecture reviews to ensure quality and scalability perspectives are integrated.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Programming skills in Python, Perl, ABAP, or C++.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Ability to work with emerging technologies like BTP.
