Description

You will own performance engineering for complex software applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and apply performance and scalability benchmarks for complex systems.
• Characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability in cross-functional teams.
• Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate performance impacts of system changes.
• Plan and execute automated performance tests, analyze results, and own quality perspectives in architecture reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of one or more languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
• Experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
