Description

You will own production support for Java-based microservices, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and resolve production incidents using Splunk logs and metrics.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in Core Java and Python services running on cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze message queue performance and latency in Kafka streams.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, fix, and prevent recurring production defects.
• Maintain and update runbooks and documentation for supported Restful web services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or production support.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation or debugging.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Solid understanding of Restful web services and REST API design.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and database troubleshooting.
• Experience with Splunk for log aggregation and monitoring.
• Practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
