Description

You will own incident resolution and system stability for in-house Java applications in Oakville, ON.

Responsibilities

• Triage, resolve, and perform root cause analysis for Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents.
• Monitor application and infrastructure alerts to ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Own support tickets and resolve them within established SLA timelines.
• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and database architectures.
• Execute production releases and implement automation to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Shell scripting.
• Practical experience working within Azure Cloud environments.
• Proficiency using monitoring tools such as NewRelic.
• Ability to design and validate database architectures.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience managing multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Cloud certification.
