Description

You will provide application support for Java-based systems within Unix and SQL environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve application issues through code debugging and log analysis.
• Manage incidents by resolving technical problems and communicating with stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify patterns and implement permanent fixes for application stability.
• Automate manual tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Support business continuity planning, system migrations, and holiday activity windows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in application support.
• Strong debugging skills in Java environments.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Incident Management and Problem Management.
• Ability to perform deep-dive root cause analysis on discrepancies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Continuity Planning and migration activities.
