Description

You will develop browser-based transaction and reporting applications in a configuration-controlled environment, owning business logic, web services, and database design for tiered Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop business logic for tiered applications using JSF, EJB, and JSP.
• Build and consume web services and generate PDF documents within Java applications.
• Design and manage Oracle PL/SQL applications, including tables, constraints, and triggers.
• Implement security coding practices to prevent application hijacking and exposure.
• Coordinate and evaluate the work of others while explaining abstract technical concepts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications using J2EE, JSF, Hibernate, and JDK (1.5 through 1.8).
• Extensive experience with JBOSS AS (5.0 – 7.0) and JBOSS EAP (5.0 – 7.0) using JBOSS IDEs.
• Proficiency with Oracle RDBMS 13g RAC or later, including PL/SQL, data modeling, and entity relationship diagrams.
• Strong understanding of database concepts such as referential integrity and data normalization.
• Experience with Hibernate versions 3.3.2 through 5.4.15.
• 5+ years of full-time experience in computer programming or systems analysis.
• Ability to design web page user interfaces and write SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skill in working with data automation standards and systems administration technologies.
