Description

Lead Java software development projects from initiation through closure, managing scope, schedule, and budget.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, resource allocation, and schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues using effective management strategies.
• Lead and direct a team of Java developers to ensure high productivity and performance.
• Coordinate with product management, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor project status and report KPIs to stakeholders and senior management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management focusing on software development.
• Proven background as a Java developer with in-depth knowledge of Java programming.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Project.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
• Master's degree.
