Description

Develop and maintain core aviation services using Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Decode business requirements into technical specifications and design documentation.
• Design, code, unit test, and debug Java applications to meet release timelines.
• Write clean, modular code following established best practices to maintain quality.
• Perform regression testing and resolve bugs identified during testing cycles.
• Collaborate with SMEs, Product Managers, and Scrum teams to refine engineering analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on expertise with PL/SQL and database structures.
• Experience implementing Microservices and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Background in the Aviation or Airlines industry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Log4J and Spring Security.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Exposure to Camunda, JBPM, or Spring Batch.
