Description

You will design, develop, and implement large-scale, full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design self-contained systems and lead implementation of significant capabilities within existing architectures.
• Decompose intricate designs into maintainable implementations and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify domain-level problems and prescribe mitigation actions.
• Define test suites and instrumentation to ensure latency and availability targets are met in production.
• Evaluate attack surfaces and prioritize the closure of open vulnerabilities to ensure system security.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and React frontend technologies.
• Deployment experience using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Source control and CI/CD expertise with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Data management proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Integration experience with Kafka, REST, and GraphQL.
• Cloud provider experience with Azure and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, Agile/SCRUM, and DevOps toolchain methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience within the airline industry.
