You build and maintain reliable, scalable backend systems by combining software engineering with operations expertise. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
• Monitor systems, identify issues, and implement fixes to ensure optimal operation.
• Automate repetitive tasks to streamline processes and reduce human error.
• Perform root cause analysis of system failures and apply preventative measures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design scalable and highly available systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in software engineering and system operations.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, or TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience with DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex system issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
