Description

Lead test automation efforts for Java-based applications in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java.
• Maintain and enhance the automation framework for scalability and reusability.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to translate requirements into test cases.
• Execute test suites, analyze results, and track defects to closure using JIRA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or test engineering.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Selenium.
• Proven track record building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent progressive experience.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices, test coverage, and traceability.
