Description

You will design and maintain large-scale enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices and SOA architectures using RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop scalable backend logic using Spring Boot, EJBs, Servlets, and JSP.
• Build and integrate data-driven components using XML, JSON, and XPath.
• Solve complex technical problems by analyzing information and developing alternative architectural solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and project updates to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java.
• 8 years of professional experience in large-scale application development.
• 5 years of extensive experience with J2EE technologies including JMS, Java Server Pages, Servlets, and EJBs.
• 5 years of experience designing Microservices and SOA implementations.
• Proficiency with RESTful and traditional web services using JSON, SOAP, and XML.
• Deep understanding of XML technologies including XSD, XSLT, XPath, JAXB, and JAX-WS.
• Strong grasp of database design principles, including table structures and indices.
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and XML Schema.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with jQuery, including AJAX and DOM manipulation.
• Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks like Angular or React.
• Background in Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Exchange systems.
