Description

You will develop, maintain, and refactor backend services and microservices using Java and Spring frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOAP-based Web Services and microservices.
• Refactor and reverse engineer existing applications to improve code quality.
• Manage data persistence using Hibernate, Spring JDBC, and SQL.
• Write unit tests and integrate code within continuous integration pipelines.
• Deliver software increments within an Agile Scrum framework.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in core Java 1.8 or higher.
• Extensive experience with Spring in backend environments.
• Deep understanding of XML schemas and documents.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, Spring JDBC, and SQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Ant.
• Experience deploying to application servers like Tomcat.
• Working knowledge of Linux concepts and principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TDD, Mockito, or EasyMock.
• Familiarity with SVN, GIT, Jenkins, or Hudson.
• Experience with VersionOne or Rally.
