Description

Lead the development and management of scalable microservices within a Google Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize NoSQL schemas in MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Manage relational databases using MySQL or MSSQL, including replication and sharding.
• Deploy and scale containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Docker.
• Configure and manage GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Pub/Sub.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters, pods, services, and Helm charts.
• Expertise in NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience with MySQL or MSSQL database optimization and management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness or Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Docker, Maven, Gradle, and JUnit.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP networking, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Monitoring.
