Description

Develop and maintain multi-tier microservices applications in Alpharetta, GA.

You will own the full development lifecycle, from converting functional requirements into technical designs to providing L3 support and coordinating across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain service-based applications using Java and JavaScript.
• Convert functional requirements into detailed technical and process designs.
• Perform database modeling, development, and data reconciliation across systems.
• Provide L3 support and coordinate technical tasks across multiple time zones.
• Collaborate with business units to finalize requirements and specifications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience involving Java.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, REST principles, and multi-tier service-based environments.
• Proficiency in Java (1.5+), Spring Core, IOC, AOP, Hibernate, and Log4J.
• Experience with TDD and unit testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito.
• Application of GOF Design Patterns and principles such as SOLID and DRY.
• Experience with relational databases including SQL Server and Sybase.
• Ability to design database tables, write queries, and develop stored procedures.
• Experience with code repositories (git, svn, or Perforce) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Angular, ExtJS, Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, or UNIX environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and PaaS services.
