Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Optimize database queries and implement best practices for MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and manage data models for scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver complete product features.
• Implement and maintain in-memory data stores like Redis or Memcache to enhance application performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with Java 8 or Java 11.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record of building and scaling distributed systems.
• Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis or Memcache.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
