Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Develop RESTful APIs acting as both consumers and producers.
• Write unit tests using JUnit and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Manage data persistence using JPA and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker, Helm, and OpenShift.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.8 and above.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Microservices.
• Experience building and testing REST APIs with Postman and JSON.
• Proficiency with JUnit and mocking frameworks.
• Experience with Jakarta Persistence (JPA).
• Knowledge of build tools including Maven, Gradle, and Groovy.
• Practical experience with Docker, Helm, and OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes, JAX-RS, Splunk, or Kafka.
