Description

You will build and maintain high-scale search and data processing systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and scale search and data processing infrastructure for growing data volumes.
• Design and ship new features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Implement best practices for data indexing, search optimization, and data integrity.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Java batch processing.
• Proven experience with Elasticsearch and other search technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed messaging systems.
• Experience with Spring Framework and event-driven processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, PCF, or AKS.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
