Description

You will build and maintain critical trading infrastructure and market data applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low latency, distributed message protocols and fault tolerant architectures.
• Build trade matching and market data applications according to design specifications.
• Research and resolve complex technical problems independently.
• Manage assigned projects to ensure completion within designated time frames.
• Participate in scheduled production support coverage and application maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert-level Java with deep understanding of internals, including memory management and threading.
• Hands-on experience developing low latency Java applications.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficiency with source control management.
• Experience with Docker and Datadog.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Exchange industry experience.
• Knowledge of the FIX protocol.
