Description

You will design and develop high-throughput, low-latency APIs and microservices using core Java and Spring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs using Java, Spring, and microservices design patterns.
• Implement advanced OOP concepts, data structures, multithreading, and collection frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, capacity, and reliability while balancing core functionality.
• Conduct code reviews to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and mitigate potential risks.
• Write optimized modules and unit tests with minimal guidance, incorporating low-level designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Microservices, and Linux.
• Strong proficiency in data structures, multithreading, concurrent data structures, and shared memory.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, JNI, NIO, and HashMap optimizations.
• Understanding of queue theory, networking protocols (UDP, TCP), and redundancy/fault tolerance.
• Familiarity with NOSQL databases, specifically Couchbase and Cassandra.
• Knowledge of JVM internals, garbage collection tuning, and algorithm evaluation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PCF or Google Cloud Platform.
• Background in the trading domain.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel/OS internals, thread pinning, NUMA nodes, and TLB caches.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
