Java Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices using Java/J2EE, Angular, GCP, and modern software engineering practices.

Build and support scalable backend services and user-facing applications while ensuring performance, security, and reliability requirements are met.

Develop and optimize data-driven solutions using BigQuery, SQL, Cloud Run, and cloud-based technologies to support business and engineering needs.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready software solutions.

Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, application monitoring, and performance optimization to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and cloud platform issues while identifying opportunities to enhance scalability, operational efficiency, and adoption of technology.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on software development experience building cloud-native and enterprise applications.

Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, BigQuery), Java/J2EE, Angular, SQL, Microservices Architecture, and API development.

Proven expertise in developing scalable cloud-based applications, troubleshooting performance issues in GCP environments, and working within Agile, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices
