Description

You will own the migration of legacy monolithic accounting systems to cloud-enabled microservices, covering design, development, and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and build applications based on user stories and architecture.
• Develop microservices using Java/JEE, Docker, and OpenShift or AWS managed Kubernetes.
• Build front-end interfaces using Angular, CSS/SCSS, and HTML.
• Investigate, debug, and fix production defects.
• Participate in analysis, unit testing, and deployment within Agile workflows.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience designing and developing applications using Java EE and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Java 8 or higher.
• Experience with Python and Pyspark.
• Strong SQL skills for data management.
• Experience building UIs with Angular, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• 5-7 years of experience working in Agile, Lean/Kanban, or Scrum environments.
• Experience with REST web services and EJBs on Tomcat.
• Knowledge of code delivery pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dremio, Snowflake, GraphQL, Drools, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced degree in a technical field.
