Description

You will design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs using Spring MVC and Spring Data.
• Implement microservices architecture with clear API contracts.
• Manage message streaming with Kafka producers and consumers.
• Design MongoDB schemas, indexing strategies, and aggregation pipelines.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift or AWS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development (versions 8, 11, or 17).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency in Spring Data for data access layers.
• Deep understanding of microservices patterns and service decomposition.
• Experience building REST APIs with JSON and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka (producer, consumer, partitioning).
• Database skills with MongoDB, including document modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OpenShift or AWS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with upstream/downstream system integrations.
