You will design and build scalable, distributed systems on the RICE platform, translating complex financial requirements into efficient technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-performance middle-tier systems using Java and Scala best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable code for multi-threaded and asynchronous environments.
• Design and implement unit tests to ensure application quality and performance standards.
• Provide ongoing technical support and optimization for production systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in writing efficient, high-performance Java code.
• Strong proficiency in multi-threaded systems and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with messaging and streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Prior knowledge of Scala.
• Experience with grid-based task distribution and object model stores.
