Description

You will design, build, and integrate analytical systems within a multi-tier, data-centric environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Collaborate with business analysts and team leads to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
• Develop multi-threaded applications using concurrency packages.
• Write and maintain unit test cases using JUnit to ensure system reliability.
• Optimize queries and manage transactions within large-scale relational databases.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database logical modelling.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Practical knowledge of the Java memory model and multi-threading.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Ability to write scripts using Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Strong understanding of database indexing and transaction management.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Background in Risk or Financial Systems development.
