Description

You will own the full lifecycle of enterprise Java applications, from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features using Java, Spring, and MongoDB within a complex enterprise environment.
• Triage production issues, reverse engineer root causes, and deliver rapid software fixes.
• Mentor team members on design principles, coding best practices, and technical leadership.
• Prepare code merge requests, manage database schema changes, and write technical documentation.
• Execute unit testing, write QA scripts, and conduct thorough code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record as a technical lead.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Ehcache).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and MS SQL database management.
• Experience with WebSphere, Ant, and building REST APIs.
• Competency in JavaScript, HTML, and JSON.
• Experience with code versioning in CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing upgrades for older versions of Spring and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with the full web stack, localization, and accessibility standards.
