Description

You will design, develop, and support scalable applications for the Digital Banking team, owning core platform features and API implementations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and implementation of core platform features.
• Design, develop, and implement REST APIs using Spring Boot and reactive programming.
• Provide operational support, including building monitoring tools, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports.
• Perform defect fixes, performance testing, and endurance testing to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in peer code reviews and architecture reviews to maintain coding best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years developing internet-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11 (lambdas, streams, CompletableFuture, optionals, generics).
• Expertise with Spring Boot (WebFlux, Reactor 3), spring-data, and REST API development.
• Experience with reactive programming and asynchronous microservices (e.g., Vert.x).
• Proficiency in OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Jaeger.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ).
• Experience in database schema design, index optimization, and query tuning.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, Gradle, and TDD practices.
