Description

You will design, develop, and support scalable core platform features and applications for the Digital Banking team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and implementation of core platform features using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs with Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and reactive programming patterns.
• Build monitoring tools, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports to ensure system reliability and operational visibility.
• Perform defect fixes, performance testing, and endurance testing to maintain high availability.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, including flexibility for second-shift overlap.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing internet-scale applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11 features: lambdas, streams, CompletableFuture, optionals, generics.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot WebFlux, Reactor 3, spring-data, and reactive microservices (e.g., Vert.x).
• Experience with cloud-native technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Jaeger.
• Knowledge of messaging systems: Kafka, MQ.
• Proficiency in database schema design, index optimization, and query tuning.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
• Experience with Git workflows, Gradle, load testing tools, and mock frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Java certification.
• Experience with TDD practices and writing clean, maintainable code.
